Who are you?

I am a Servant, Author, Entrepreneur, Educator and have fought through the remnant of serial abuse, depression, rejection, anxiety and two divorces all before the age of 40. I write from experience to help others in similar situations who haven’t really figured out how to fight through it. What I live, comes out through what I love the most…being creative. I am a Creative Overcomer.

Did you always dream of being where you are today? If no, then what was your dream?

No. I dreamed of being a Forensic Analyst or to work at Disney World 😂

What moment or conversation changed your life?

There are so many moments that contributed to a change in my life. I cannot pinpoint only one but I can tell you there have been instrumental people who have impacted my life forever.  The deposits of encouragement, the daily words of affirmation, equipping me with essential prayer and showing me how to value and love myself more. My strength stems from God first and then the village of angels that daily keep my arms raised and head held high.  When I am feeling as if I am in a low point, I remember their words and cherish them daily.  My thinking has changed, my heart has changed and my life will never be the same!

What lesson learned is guiding you through life?

I could give up, but I’ll never get to see the finish line.
